Senior Fitness

Research continues to find that a well-planned, progressive exercise program can lead to dramatic improvements in strength, balance, confidence, and the ability to live independently in seniors of all ages.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program and ask if there are any precautions you specifically need to take. Generally, most seniors can safely begin a fitness program. Strength training can help with many issues plaguing older individuals such as: osteoporosis, arthritis, pulmonary disease, diabetes, obesity, and back problems.

We base our senior exercise programs on an evalulation of our client’s current activities, fitness goals, health, and physician’s recommendations. With this knowledge, we design a fitness program that allows our client to meet and surpass their fitness goals as quickly and safely as possible. As they progress, we motivate our clients by adjusting and varying their programs to keep them fresh and interesting.
